New Beginner Classes for Febuary 2010

Buffalo

February Evening Buffalo:
Starts Tuesday, February 9th from 6:00-7:00 PM.
This class will meet every Tuesday and Thursday for three months at the Buffalo location at 968 Kenmore Ave.

Open House - January 9th 2010

On January 9th we'll have an Open House at our Kenmore Avenue location. During the Open House, we'll demonstrate the 108 movements of the Taoist Tai Chi taijiquan set. We'll discuss the health benefits of regular practice of Taoist Tai Chi internal arts. When the Open House is over, you should have a good idea of how our classes are taught, what it is like to be a member, and you'll be ready to join our next class.

Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts

We will demonstrate at the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts on August 28th and 29th on the corner of Elmwood and Auburn Avenues. We will do lots of demos, answer questions, and hold the tent down. Come and watch a set or ask questions.

The Process of Learning Taoist Tai Chi Society (R) taijiquan Goes Through Several Steps

Beginner: Learning the 108 moves of the Taoist Tai Chi (TM) Tai Chi Set.

Continuing: These classes help the student who has completed the beginner lessons to consolidate his/her knowledge of the sequence of the Taoist Tai Chi (TM) taijiquan set, learning to make it a more effective exercise for health improvement. The process of building a foundation that exercises the entire physiology will be introduced through other health improving exercises and through practicing frequently repeated moves in the set. Push hands is also introduced.

Health Recovery class: This class is intended for people who wish to learn Taoist Tai Chi (TM) taijiquan but are unable join in a regular class because of particular health or other difficulties and for people who could benefit from the specialized exercises practiced in this class.
